Sole Proprietorship

Registering a Sole Proprietorship is the most inexpensive way to register a business. As a Sole Proprietor, you have unlimited liability for the business, including all debts and obligations. Additionally, all decision making is controlled by you and all profits from the business go straight to you.

Partnership

Registering a Partnership is similar to a Sole Proprietorship with the exception that there are more than one members of the organisation. Two or more people can register a Partnership if they are not yet ready to incorporate, or legal and accounting reasons compel them to go with this type of business model. Unlimited liability still applies to all members of the partnership. Dissolving and changing a partnership is more difficult than with a Corporation, but they can be flexible and have simpler tax implications.

Corporation

Although slightly more expensive, an Incorporation registers as a completely separate legal entity. This makes it easier to transfer ownership of company and shareholders have limited liability. There are also more regulations around corporations.
