Extra-Provincial Corporation

EXPANDING YOUR BUSINESS?

If you have an existing federal or provincial corporation and wish to conduct business in another Canadian province, you will need to register as an extra-provincial corporation in the desired jurisdiction.

Extra-provincial registration fees vary across provinces, and a NUANS report may be required to ensure your corporation’s name can be registered. Foreign corporations are also required to register as an extra-provincial corporation in the provinces in which they wish to do business.

If you do not have a physical presence in the new province you wish to register in, you will need an Agent of Service to act as your registered office.

If you’d like more information on registering an extra-provincial corporation in New Brunswick or another jurisdiction, or require an Agent of Service, contact us today!
